Ex-Ohio State Quarterback Cardale Jones Rips Protestors At His Alma Mater

Anti-Israel protests are rampant on college campuses across the United States, but fortunately, people are willing to speak up when these disgusting demonstrations start happening at their alma mater.

Former Ohio State Buckeyes quarterback Cardale Jones is the type of person to speak up when he sees something like this going on.

A video was making the rounds on social media that showed a bunch of students at Ohio State in what looked like a student union or some other gathering place, chanting "The Zionists have got to go."

As I said, this kind of nonsense is happening around the country, but Jones made sure to say that this is not the version of the Ohio State University that he attended and played at from 2013 to 2015.

"This isn’t THE Ohio State University I attended," Jones said. "Never understood how someone or a group of people could have so much hate towards another. I hope behaviors & actions as such is addressed accordingly & allow EVERYONE to a Buckeye peaceful(ly), proudly and SAFELY. As always #GoBucks"

Damn. Well put, Cardale.

I don't know how you could have a problem with anything he said in that (barring the #GoBucks part. I get not agreeing with that).

Jones spent three seasons in Columbus and was part of the 2014 Buckeyes team that won the inaugural College Football Playoff National Championship over the Oregon Ducks.

Following the Buckeye's championship run, Jones had his most productive season. In 2015, his junior year, he threw for 1,459 yards and 8 touchdowns in a run-heavy Ohio State offense that had future NFL star Ezekiel Elliott in the backfield.

Jones left college after his junior season and was drafted by the Buffalo Bills in the 4th round, 139th overall in the 2016 NFL Draft, and made his lone NFL appearance the following season. Jones also played for the DC Defenders during the 2020 XFL season.
