If your hand is up and the answer is yes, then I have good news for you. After a couple years of speculation about whether EA Sports would actually drop a new college football game, it's officially confirmed.

EA Sports released a teaser for "College Football 25" Thursday morning. It will be the first college football video game in more than a decade, and the teaser will inject a sense of nostalgia right into your soul.

While the specific release date remains unknown, EA Sports announced there will be a full reveal in May. Check out the teaser below, and hit me with your reactions at David.Hookstead@outkick.com

EA Sports drops "College Football 25" teaser.

EA Sports stunned fans more than three years ago when it announced that a new game would be released. People were in a legit state of shock.

The old games ended because of issues with image and likeness being used without payment to current and former athletes.

Thanks to NIL, those concerns are no longer an issue. It's full speed ahead for a new college football video game, and I can't wait.

Generally speaking, I hate video games. I think they're pointless and dumb, BUT I make an exception when it comes to college football video games. There's nothing better than picking the worst team in the game and building a dynasty.

My go-to programs back in the day were Old Dominion and South Alabama. It's way more fun to pick a trash team and roll with it than picking a traditional power.

Also, cutting it up against the boys was always the best. We'd come back from the bars and try to beat the hell out of each other into the early morning hours. While those college days are behind us, there are still many games to win looming on the horizon.

Say a prayer for all the great girlfriends out there who will be seeing a lot less of their boyfriends starting this summer. There are national titles to win. Date nights come and go. Championships last forever.
