Drake Reportedly Has A Beef With NHL Legend Jaromir Jagr Over Hotel Rooms

It was a banner weekend in Pittsburgh for NHL legend Jaromir Jagr. He had his iconic No. 68 raised to the rafters ahead of the Penguins' 2-1 loss to the Los Angeles Kings, and even practiced and warmed up with the team.

The 52-year-old — who still plays pro hockey in his native Czechia — even dropped one of the all-time great lines during his jersey retirement speech.

What a legend.

But — would you believe? — it gets even better: Jagr may have found himself drawing the ire of one of the most famous musicians on the planet, Drake.

The rapper and infamous curse-bringer performed a show at PPG Paints Arena the night before Jagr's retirement game was played. So, both were in town at the same time, and according to reports both stayed at the Fairmont Hotel Pittsburgh.

According to The Athletic's Josh Yohe, Drake was not happy to learn that the hotel's best rooms had been reserved not for him, but for Jagr and his traveling party.

That's an interesting story, but of course, you want to make sure you're doing your due diligence to find multiple sources.

Well, The Hockey News' Nick Horwat was more than happy to corroborate Yohe's report, saying that he had heard the same thing.

I get that Drake is used to getting whatever it is that Drake wants. But, if Jaromir Jagr is in Pittsburgh at the same time as you, then sorry, bud, no presidential suite for you.

And getting upset about that is a waste of energy. That’s like going to London and being mad that King Charles got a better table at a restaurant than you. It’s his town.

Still, the image of Drake sitting on the bed in a slightly smaller-than-normal suite and pouting while Jagr and. Co. live it up in the primo rooms is hilarious.
