Dodgers Fans Take Over New York Streets Ahead Of Yankees Matchup
There's no question that the Los Angeles Dodgers have one of the best fanbases in Major League Baseball. Dodger Stadium has enjoyed an MLB lead in attendance for years; last year the Dodgers averaged nearly 48,000 fans per game, the best in baseball by over 7,000.

But the Dodgers don't just enjoy immense fan support at home. A group of fans known as Pantone 294, the official "Dodger blue" color for the organization, frequently organizes traveling trips to see the team on the road. And one of those trips was clearly to this weekend's series against the New York Yankees.
During a 2-1 Dodgers victory on Friday night, LA fans could be clearly heard when outfielder Teoscar Hernandez drove in two runs in the 11th inning.
And before Saturday evening's game against the Yankees, Dodgers fans made their presence felt again. The Pantone 294 official Instagram posted a video of the organized group taking over the streets of the Bronx outside Yankee Stadium, showing the scale of the support for Shohei Ohtani and the rest of the team.
Dodgers-Yankees Set To Be A World Series Preview?
The Dodgers jumped out to an early 1-0 lead on Saturday thanks to a Teoscar Hernandez homer, but the Yankees quickly answered back, tying the score in the bottom of the second.
Both teams have generally lived up to preseason expectations; the Yankees have one of baseball's best records at 45-20, while the Dodgers have a commanding eight-game lead in the National League West.
While there are clear issues to be addressed for both teams, and the postseason is inherently random, this season feels like the best chance to renew the classic World Series matchup since 1981.
It's impossible to predict this far out, but one thing is for certain: if the two teams do play each other in October, there'll be an absolute ton of Dodgers fans in the Bronx. And probably Yankees fans in LA.
