Bo Jackson Being Called Out For Possibly Making Up This Famous Story

Sports fans are questioning Bo Jackson's memory about purposely being ejected from a game so he could be at the the hospital for the birth of his daughter.

Say it ain't so, Bo!

Has Bo Jackson been lying this whole time?

For years now, Bo Jackson has been telling a story about how he purposely got ejected from a baseball game in order to go to the hospital and be there for the birth of his daughter. The baseball / football phenom even retold the story yesterday while appearing during the Royals Bally Sports game broadcast.

… BUT IT MAY NOT BE TRUE!

According to author Jeff Pearlman, Jackson's entire story literally could not have happened because the facts of the game that day don't even match up.

In a series of tweets, Pearlman breaks down when Bo Jackson's daughter Morgan was born and the Royals schedule at the time - as well as most telling, Bo wasn't ejected ONCE that season.

As Pearlman explains, Bo's not even in the lineup that day - and it wasn't because he got tossed early, it was because he was already on the 15-day disabled list from a previous injury three days earlier.

BO NEVER GOT EJECTED THAT SEASON

Pearlman goes on to say that Jackson wasn't even at the ballpark that day to begin with.

But the most telling counterargument to Bo Jackson's story - is that Pearlman says he did the research and found that Jackson didn't get tossed ONCE that season. Yikes.

I STILL LOVE BO JACKSON THOUGH!

Listen, I understand stories get exaggerated from time to time - just ask President Joe Biden (Actually, don't because he'll make up another story).

Honestly, Bo Jackson rules and is one of the greatest athletes of all time. The dude was a straight-up MONSTER on the baseball and football field.

Even if he did exaggerate or fib about the story, as it appears he may have for almost 30 years - he's still Bo Jackson. I'll let this slide because, in th end, at least he was there for the birth of his daughter.

Also, because I don't want to piss this guy off ever if I come across him in person.
