Derrick Henry Gets Crab Cakes For Life For Signing With The Ravens

Derrick Henry is about to be eatin' good in Baltimore!

The newly signed Baltimore Ravens Pro Bowl running back is joining a team that has a Super Bowl Championship in their sights and a fan base that was willing to do whatever it took to make sure Henry signed there - even bribe him with some fresh Maryland crab legs!

In recent days, the famous Maryland family-owned restaurant Jimmy's Famous Seafood (who we love here on OutKick because PETA absolutely hates them) had been tweeting the former Titans running back trying to entice him to sign with the Ravens.

What started as free crab cakes for life, soon escalated to free crab legs and crab cake egg rolls as well. King Crab Legs for King Henry? Well played Jimmy, well played.

HENRY WILL ADD TO A POWERFUL RAVENS OFFENSE

Forget the two-year, $16 million deal that the Ravens offered Henry. It appears that Jimmy's crab cake offer may have been the one that ultimately pushed him to sign with Baltimore.

The restaurant says that Henry actually followed them on their socials (as well as Ray Lewis) hours before he officially signed with the team yesterday. Henry - who has always been known to be a generous and community-friendly person during his tenure in Nashville with the Titans, then re-posted about them on his Instagram saying that he was going to roll on through and start devouring some fresh crab.

We love it when family-owned, hard-working families win here at OutKick. So kudos to Jimmy's and shout out to Derrick Henry for being a man of the people. Now excuse me because I'm suddenly starving for some seafood and will dedicate it to PETA.
