Deion Sanders Hits Back At Viral Claim Involving Son's NFL Future
Deion Sanders is hitting back at the idea he'll limit his son Sheduer to one of six NFL teams.
There's been a lot of chatter online about how Sanders has allegedly narrowed down Sheduer and Travis Hunter's pro future to just six teams.
It all likely stems from comments made on the "Million Dollaz Worth of Game" podcast when Sanders named the Eagles, 49ers, Cowboys, Commanders and Ravens as potential landing spots.
The former NFL superstar didn't even name six. He named five places he thought could be good fits for Travis and Shedeur and the speculation took off. Well, the Colorado coach is now hitting back.
Deion Sanders denies limiting son's NFL options.
"That's a bold face lie. That's a stupid lie," Sanders told Romi Bean when asked if he would really limit the two stars to six teams.
That's about as blunt of a response as you can get. You can watch his full comments below, and hit me with your thoughts at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
It should be common sense to anyone paying attention that Deion limiting where the two Colorado stars might go to just six teams doesn't add up.
There are 32 NFL franchises. How is Deion going to rule out 26 teams? While he has previously said some teams won't happen - without getting in specifics - Deion doesn't have the ability to control the draft order or what teams might do with trades.
The idea he can just drop the hammer on 81.25% of the league doesn't pass the sniff test at all.
Now, he's on record calling out the lie about Travis Hunter and Shedeur's futures. We'll see where they go in the draft next year, but it doesn't seem like Deion has much interest in limiting their landing spots.
