College Football Video Game Gets Awesome Update

The upcoming college football video game is going to be loaded with your favorite players.

"College Football 25" will be the first college football video game in 11 years, and fans are FIRED UP to see what EA Sports drops. The expected release date is some point in July. Specifically, July 19th is the rumored release date, but that hasn't been confirmed by the video game giant.

One of the biggest questions surrounding the game is how many players will opt in. Great news, folks. It sounds like all your favorite players will be featured.

"College Football 25" will be loaded with familiar faces.

Matt Brown, the top reporter when it comes to "College Football 25," reported Thursday that the final number of players in the game is more than 12,800.

The original number was 10,000. That means roughly 3,000 more players opted in since the initial wave when the window opted.

The only super notable player who is known to not be in the game is Texas QB Arch Manning. It's unfortunate for Texas fans, but Manning's absence will ultimately have zero impact on whether or not people buy the game.

As I've said many times, I can't even begin to tell you all how excited I am for "College Football 25." I used to play the old games all the time.

My college roommates and myself had some legendary battles on the PS3. Now, I have to buy a PS5 to play the new game, and I'll hand over the money with a huge smile on my face.

It's been a long time coming, and something tells me college football fans around America will have some mysterious illnesses when the game comes out in July. Get your doctor's notes signed now!
