New College Football Video Game Details Appear To Leak

It appears some more details from the upcoming college football video game might have leaked online.

"College Football 25" from EA Sports will hit shelves at some point in July, and millions of fans around the country are fired up and ready to roll.

We simply can't wait to get back to building dynasties and winning national titles. All the chatter around "College Football 25" has been that a ton of energy and resources have been put into the game day experience for users.

Well, it appears people now have an idea of some audio that will be in the game.

"College Football 25" announcer tweets some audio script snippets.

Kevin Connors will appear in the new game as one of the announcers, and he tweeted Sunday afternoon that he's officially done recording his audio for the game.

His computer screen was up and open, and appeared to include audio intro for at least three different matchups.

The audio script states the following, according to BroBible:

Ohio State/Illinois

"Fellas… It’s ONE thing to have a rivalry game … but when you have TWO long-time foes battling for a PRIZE like the ILLIBUCK Trophy – you KNOW emotions tend to run high."

Army/Navy

"Guys… there are RIVALRIES and then there is undeniably the most MEANINGFUL rivalry in sports. And the battle for the chance to SING second in today’s Army-Navy game has been a sight to behold."

Alabama/Auburn

"Guys… from Tuscaloosa to The Plains – there are some ORNERY folks and some EMOTIONAL fan bases enjoying a SODA pop and a LOTTA trash talk in this battle between the TIDE and WAR Eagle."

I have to admit that the audio script for the Army/Navy game is pretty legit. I'm ready to run through a brick wall just reading. It's a hell of a rivalry, and I can't wait to hear it in a video game for the first time in more than a decade.

Now, did Kevin Connors know his computer screen was open when he sent this tweet? Was this a true leak or a staged stunt to gin up more interest? Those are great questions, and the truth is I don't have the answers.

All I know is people are fired up and unbelievably excited for "College Football 25." Any little bit of information fans can get will be welcomed with open arms.

July can't get here soon enough. Let me know what you think about the upcoming game at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
