Colin Cowherd Shares Insane Take On Jim Harbaugh's Fighting Abilities

Colin Cowherd shared a truly delusional take about Jim Harbaugh's prospects against NFL coaches in a fight.

Harbaugh left Michigan after winning a national title to take over the Chargers, and expectations are soaring in Los Angeles for Justin Herbert and the team.

Will Harbaugh meet the lofty expectations? Time will tell, but if it comes down to a March Madness brawl, the Fox Sports star thinks Harbaugh will be fine.

"If you told me who are the toughest four football coaches in the NFL if they all got in a fight, I'd say Mike Tomlin, Dan Campbell, [Mike] Vrabel and Jim Harbaugh," Cowherd told his audience Tuesday.

No, this is not a joke. It's 100% real. Cowherd thinks Jim Harbaugh - a 60-year-old man - is a top four fighter in the NFL. Watch his full comments and hit me with your reactions at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.

This is a comical take from Colin Cowherd?

I hate to be the bearer of bad news for Colin Cowherd, but he's insane if he thinks Jim Harbaugh would last long in a fight against many other coaches in the league.

Cowherd is 100% correct on Dan Campbell and Mike Vrabel being in the top four. Tomlin is also comical, but putting Harbaugh on that list is hilarious.

The man is 60 and has a similar body to mine. That's not a compliment. Dan Campbell looks like he could throw on the pads today if he wanted to. Harbaugh looks like he'd get snapped in half if he took a hit.

The funniest omission from the list is DeMeco Ryans. The Texans head coach isn't even 40 yet and was a former standout on the field.

Just like Campbell, Ryans looks like he could play right now if he wanted to. Yet, Cowherd seemingly would take Jim Harbaugh in an all-out melee.

That fight would be over within seconds.

Fighting is unbelievably hard on the body. Just look at the damage and recovery UFC stars go through. Now, imagine they were 60 and doing it. We all find Jim Harbaugh entertaining, but he wouldn't last long in a fight against younger coaches. The top two spots among active coaches (Vrabel needs a job) are Dan Campbell and DeMeco Ryans. I'd probably slide Robert Saleh into the three spot after those two. Jim Harbaugh wouldn't be anywhere near the top. A gritty guy? For sure, but it wouldn't go well if Cowherd's scenario played out in real life. Let me know what you think at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
