Skip Bayless Goes On Weird Caitlin Clark Rant: VIDEO

Skip Bayless seems to have concerns about the kind of grit Caitlin Clark might have.

The Fever and Clark fell to the Chicago Sky and Angel Reese this past Sunday after blowing a late lead. The Fever blew many plays throughout the game.

Clark played very well, but the team simply couldn't put the Sky away when it had the chance. Now, Bayless is questioning whether or not Clark "has that dog in her."

Skip Bayless goes on strange rant about Caitlin Clark.

"I'm going to hold women's basketball to the same standard I hold men's basketball. Caitlin, I don't know if she has that dog in her. I know she's got distant shooting talent, and I know she definitely has a gift for passing the basketball. But, I don't know if she has that dog in her because I start to wonder. I know it's extremely early, but I'm just saying I start to wonder when I see what I saw [Sunday]," Bayless said during the Monday episode of "Undisputed" when comparing Clark and Angel Reese.

Questioning whether or not Clark "has that dog in her" is a hell of a hot take. Are we talking about the same person?

I'm pretty sure Caitlin Clark is the highest scoring player in major college basketball history, and she's also the reason the WNBA has become relevant.

Nobody would be talking about the WNBA right now if she wasn't playing in it. The league is selling out arenas and putting up record TV ratings because of her.

Yet, she drops one game to Angel Reese, and Bayless is seemingly concerned because she didn't take enough shots late in the game. It's one game. It's one game, and she has very little talent around her.

On the season, Clark is averaging 16.3 points, 5.4 rebounds, 6.6 assists and 1.5 steals per game. That dog in her? Caitlin Clark is the definition of someone who has that dog in them.

Bayless couldn't be more wrong with this take, and the proof to debunk it is overwhelming. Let me know what you think at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
