Caitlin Clark Offered NBA-Level Money To Play 10 Games In Men's Pro League

Caitlin Clark reportedly has millions waiting on the table if she's willing to play a handful of games in Ice Cube's Big3 league.

The Iowa Hawkeyes superstar is currently in the Sweet 16 in the women's NCAA Tournament, and she's a lock to be the first overall pick in the WNBA Draft.

However, she might make NBA-level money without ever playing a second of basketball in the WNBA.

Caitlin Clark scores massive Big3 offer.

Clark has been offered $5 million to play up to 10 games in the Big3 as the league's first female player, according to TMZ. The league founded by Ice Cube, who later confirmed the existence of an offer to Fox Digital, is a three-on-three league featuring mostly former NBA players.

The offer would also allow Clark to also play in the WNBA and would only feature very minimal conflicts. Many WNBA players also play overseas to earn more money.

The $5 million salary is also fascinating once you unpack the numbers. Three players in the WNBA are tied for the league's highest salary at $241,984.

Clark's per game average in the Big 3 would be $500,000. The total value of the Big3 offer would make her paid right under the median average for salaries in the NBA this season, but it'd be a top-25 per game NBA salary.

The numbers are nothing short of jarring. Now, will she do it? It's one thing to dominate other women. It's an entirely different animal to play against former NBA stars who are physically bigger, stronger and faster. The differences between men and women will only be more obvious in a three-on-three setting where there's more space to move.

To put it as simply as possible, Caitlin Clark doesn't have nearly enough talent to come close to competing against men. However, she might not care if she can make a quick $5 million on top of endorsement earnings and whatever relatively small contract she'll get in the WNBA.

Should Caitlin Clark play against former pro men and make some big money? Let me know at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
