Browns Security Demolishes Fan During Training Camp Drills: Video

The Cleveland Browns' security team is trying to give Myles Garrett a run for his money as the best defender(s) on the team.

On Tuesday, a video surfaced showing the Browns' on-field security practicing their tackles ahead of the 2024-25 NFL season.

Footage showed members of the security team running a simulated scene of a fan storming the field. The drills were a success, showing off quite the chase as the drill dummy made some jukes.

The security member successfully caught the fan but used a prohibited hip-drop tackle, which goes against the league's rules. Despite the solid tackle, a move like that could cost the Browns 15 yards in real play, which is not cool.

Monday was the start of training camp for Cleveland's rookies, and the rest of the team reported on Tuesday.

Cleveland enters what feels like a ‘prove-it’ season for quarterback Deshaun Watson, the team's fully guaranteed $200 million man. Watson may not show up in the clutch, but the Browns' on-field security certainly will.
