Breeland, 32, was busted on Saturday in Mecklenburg County for on charges of drug possession, resisting arrest, and more hair-raising offenses. He was discovered as part of a drug call made to Charlotte-Mecklenburg authorities.
Breeland played in the NFL for eight years.

Breeland faces felony drug charges, two misdemeanor charges of assaulting a government official, and two misdemeanors of injury to personal property. Guns were also found at the scene.
The ex-cornerback's latest run-in with the law in Charlotte marked his second major arrest in the past year, following one in Mecklenburg County for similar offenses in August 2023.
In 2023, Breeland was caught possessing four firearms — two AR-15s and two AK47s — five pounds of marijuana and 62 grams of mushrooms. Breeland's drug charges included "possession with intent to sell or deliver marijuana and a Schedule I substance (heroin, LSD, marijuana and ecstasy)." He was previously arrested in 2020 for marijuana possession.
The Washington Redskins drafted Breeland in the fourth round of the NFL Draft in 2014. Breeland last played in the NFL in 2021 with the Minnesota Vikings. He was part of the Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs when KC faced against the San Francisco 49ers in 2020.
