Baseball Fans Go To Town On Astros' Wikipedia Page To Reflect Adolis Garcia's Owning Of The Franchise During ALCS

Texas Rangers right fielder Adolis Garcia had himself a series against the Houston Astros. Not only was he named ALCS MVP after helping punch the Rangers' ticket to the World Series, he became the owner of the Astros for a brief moment, at least according to his Wikipedia page.

Sports fans updating Wikipedia pages like this when a player has a monstrous performance is a tradition unlike any other, and the joke always hits.

Garcia was a non-factor in Game 1 of the ALCS going 0 for 4, but then flipped a monstrous switch over the next six games of the series.

The 30-year-old had 10 hits in the series, with five of those being home runs. He left the yard twice in Game 7 as Texas routed the Astros in their own building, 11-4.

The former St. Louis Cardinal is undoubtedly a must-watch player whenever he steps to the plate heading into the World Series.
