Barack Obama's NCAA Tournament Bracket Features Wild First Round Upset

Barack Obama apparently has no faith in the Duke Blue Devils in the post-Coach K era.

The 44th President of the United States released his brackets for the men's and women's tournaments Tuesday.

Obama was famous for filling out a bracket while President, and that hasn't stopped since leaving office. His love of sports was one of the few qualities of his I actually enjoyed and agreed with. He's just like us! A man who loves some basketball.

However, isn't a believer in Duke at all.

Barack Obama predicts Duke falls in shocking first round upset.

The Blue Devils face Vermont in Brooklyn in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament, and Obama thinks Duke will be packing their bags to go home Friday night.

The former President picked the Catamounts to win, despite being heavy 12.5-point underdogs as of publication. That'd be a hell of a first round stunner.

Fortunately, he doesn't have Vermont winning again. Instead, he has the Wisconsin Badgers advancing to the Sweet 16. Am I crazy or did Barack Obama and I just agree on something? 2024 is truly a wild time to be alive.

If Obama's prediction comes accurate, then it's going to be unbelievably entertaining. Duke got bounced early in the ACC Tournament and X was on fire with reactions that were nothing short of hilarious.

Cheering for Duke to lose is something that unites college basketball fans from around the country. As a Wisconsin man, I'd also much rather play Vermont than Duke.

The former President also picked Caitlin Clark and Iowa to make it to the national title game and falling to South Carolina. A Gamecocks/Hawkeyes title game would be electric, but let's show Caitlin Clark a little more respect, Mr. President. I'm riding with the most exciting player the women's game has ever seen until the end. Let me know what you think of Obama's upset prediction at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
