Antonio Brown Sends Out Racist Tweet About Taylor Swift

Former NFL star wide receiver Antonio Brown sent out an offensive tweet on Tuesday aimed at Taylor Swift.

A Taylor Swift fan account posted a photo of Swift, with a bit of an engagement bait tag, from one of her many appearances at Kansas City Chiefs games during the 2023 season. Swift is putting her hand over her heart for the National Anthem, so the account, "Bored Swifte" asked "What are the first five words of the National Anthem?"

Somehow Antonio Brown saw it, presumably because he's a fan of her music, and responded "Body like a saltine cracker."

Not great!

Brown then doubled down in a subsequent post; an AI generated image of him cooking what appear to be crackers.

Sounds about right for Antonio Brown these days.

Antonio Brown Going After Taylor Swift For Some Reason

A charitable interpretation of Brown's post is that he was referring to Taylor Swift being thin, but at this point does Brown really deserve the benefit of the doubt?

Especially with his follow-up tweet with the "#cracker" addition.

Beyond that though, why go after one of the world's most popular entertainers, especially when she has such a devoted fan base?

Or just imagine if a similarly racially charged term was applied to say, Beyoncé or another black entertainer. Brown would be excoriated by sports media desperate for perceived racism to uncover.

Not a great look for Antonio Brown. Not that he cares.
