Anthony Kim Breaks His Social Media Hiatus With Heater Of A Video Ahead Of LIV Golf Debut

To say Anthony Kim has been living in the shadows over the last 12 years would be an understatement, he's been more like a ghost. Not only was the former PGA Tour star never spotted out in public, but he's been completely dark on social media for the last decade-plus as well.

Ahead of his return to professional golf with LIV this weekend in Jeddah, the 38-year-old broke his radio silence and shared a video to his brand-new anthonykimofficial Instagram account.

For the 25-35ish year old golf fans out there who remember Kim's magic from 2008-2010, the video brings back some awesome memories and emotions.

There are three key takeaways from the video, Kim is a girl dad now and he and his lady friend live their entire lives in sweatpants, which both of those things are awesome.

The third noticeable aspect of the video is the message at the end that says "Hello haters, I'm back."

Outside of the members of the 2008 European Ryder Cup team that Kim helped bring down with the U.S., I'm not sure Kim has ever had a hater. Maybe it's a parting shot to those who questioned how he could step away from professional golf to receive an alleged, very large insurance policy, but him addressing his virtually non-existent haters was an interesting choice to close out what was a rather motivational video.

Kim joins LIV Golf as a season-long wildcard player and will compete in each event remaining on the 2024 schedule. He'll be aiming to accrue enough points in the league's individual standings to earn a place on a team for the 2025 campaign.

After this week's event in Jeddah, LIV heads to Hong Kong the following week before Kim will make his first start on U.S. soil since May 2012 at LIV Miami on April 5.
