Aaron Rodgers Is Back To Slinging The Football In Jets Social Media Video

Aaron Rodgers is passing the eye test as he plans for a monumental comeback in 2024. The New York Jets quarterback starred in the team's recent social media video on Sunday, slinging the football with the four-time MVP's signature zip.

Rodgers, 40, linked up with top Jets wideout Garrett Wilson during phase one of the team's voluntary program. The video featuring Rodgers pumped some enthusiasm among Jets fans as they hope to rebound from 2023's disastrous year.

It was another display of exceptional mobility from the QB, less than a year removed from his Achilles rupture. The season was turbulent for Rodgers, who teased a comeback on several occasions.

Rodgers was seen moving around and throwing the football just 34 days after he tore his Achilles.

Rodgers' Week 1 season-ending injury sunk the Jets season — the QB is back to face the Super Bowl-or-bust expectations set since last offseason. His last full football season came with the Packers in 2022, tossing for 3,695 yards, 26 touchdowns and 11 interceptions in 17 games.

New York wideout Garrett Wilson led impressive campaigns in 2022 (rookie) and 2023, crossing the 1,000-yard receiving mark with Zach Wilson and a carousel of sub-par QBs throwing him the rock. After two seasons as a pro, Wilson has proven to be QB-proof, getting his WR1 stats regardless of who's throwing the football. Garrett and new Jets WR Mike Williams welcome Rodgers back to a Jets offense still ailed by bad offensive line play.

However, playing in an AFC that suffered a collective step back this offseason, the Jets may face an ideal year to clinch the division.

Jets fans and general NFL fans wait to see how much Rodgers has left in the tank. Rodgers has his detractors heading into his second year with Gang Green, and it's another all-or-nothing campaign ahead.
