Ron DeSantis Has Epic Response To Maskless Photo At Super Bowl

Florida Gov. Rob DeSantis attended the Super Bowl between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday. At one point, someone caught a photo of DeSantis enjoying himself without a mask on and shared it to Twitter.

His response? Well, you be the judge. Marc Caputo with POLITICO shared it via social media on Monday afternoon.

“Someone said, ‘Hey, you were at the Super Bowl without a mask,” DeSantis told reporters Monday, via the tweet from Caputo. “But how the hell am I going to be able to drink a beer with a mask on? Come on. I had to watch the Bucs win.”

That might be the most American response of all time.

The man was simply trying to enjoy a nice, cold adult beverage while watching a team from his home state compete for a Super Bowl. A celebration was certainly in order, following the massive 31-9 victory for the Bucs.

  1. As a FL senior citizen I’m glad Governor is sticking with his vaccination plan. And, wish to congratulate him for insuring that Holocaust and Bay of Pigs survivors aren’t forgotten. In Palm Beach County he met with former NFL WR Anquan Boldin to get vaccine to Pahokee and Belle Glade. Decades ago those farming towns were featured on CBS special: “Harvest of Shame”.
