Roll Tide? Yeah. Alabama Has Historic Recruiting Class On Way

Alabama just won another national championship. So guess what that means? Yeah, it's already gearing up for another -- and perhaps more than at any time in history.

According to Bud Elliott of CBS Sports, Coach Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide are preparing to welcome a recruiting class for the ages.

"Alabama's class has 13 of the top 90 players in the country already signed. There are an incredible seven five-star prospects signed or committed. This includes the top two offensive tackles in the nation: JC Latham and Tommy Brockermeyer," Elliott wrote. "The Tide have the No. 2 guard in Terrence Ferguson and the No. 1 center in James Brockermeyer. They also have four of the top 10 wide receivers in JaCorey Brooks, Agiye Hall, Christian Leary and JoJo Earl. Oh, and let's add a verbal commitment from five-star running back Camar Wheaton, who will be signing his National Letter of Intent on Wednesday."

Yeah, uh, by the way, that's just the class on offense. On defense, Saban is bringing in cornerback Ga'Quincy McKinstry and defensive end Dallas Turner, both ranked No. 1 in the country at their positions.

Stop us if you're beginning to sense a theme here.

"Not only is recruiting class the best in 2021 by a good margin, it is actually the highest-rated of all time as currently comprised. And yet, it might not be done," Elliott wrote.

National Signing Day is set for Wednesday.
