Rob Gronkowski Gets First Touchdown With Tampa Bay

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-2) are absolutely dealing against the undefeated Green Bay Packers. After being down 10-0 at the conclusion of the first quarter, the offense exploded in the second quarter en route to scoring 28 straight points.

Included in that spectacular run of offensive performances was the first touchdown of the season for tight end Rob Gronkowski. Of course, that also means it was his first touchdown as a member of the Buccaneers too.

On a third-and-six from the Green Bay 12-yard line, quarterback Tom Brady found a familiar target in Gronkowski for a score. That also meant the return of "Gronk Spike" that has become a fan-favorite.

It was Gronkowski's third reception of the day on four targets thus far. He's totaled 29 yards and that score with his opportunities.

Does this finally mean that the long-time New England Patriot is warming up in Tampa Bay after a slow start? After totaling two catches for 11 yards through the first two weeks, Gronkowski has been steadily increasing his play and production within the offense.

This Bucs team is going to be a lot more fun to watch as the Brady-Gronkowski duo continues to get more comfortable. Getting that first touchdown out of the way is certainly going to help.
