Excessive speed was the major cause of the car crash that landed Tiger Woods in the hospital with a number of serious injuries, according to TMZ. The L.A. County Sheriff’s Department will release the findings of their investigation on Wednesday.
The story is Woods was speeding when he lost control of his SUV and got into the accident.
The Sheriff’s Department does not know whether Woods was conscious when he lost control and went down the embankment. Woods himself has stated that he has no recollection of the crash. They say he hit his head three or four times on something hard in the cabin of the SUV.
The legendary golfer is out of the hospital, recovering in Florida. TMZ states Woods won’t have any charges filed against him.
Last week, the Sheriff’s Department told TMZ that findings wouldn’t be released due to privacy concerns, so this release is a significant departure from the way the department has previously communicated with the public regarding this investigation.
Excessive speeds. And? Go on…
Right, as opposed to all the crashes caused by reasonable and safe speeds. WTF.
Woods didn’t try to steer the car back until long after it left the road. The police need to answer that question.
HaHa no shit Einstein plus add the meds mix it all up and you get a flying SUV nice one Eldrick
Well obviously…they didn’t need to cover that up.
I’m just impressed with how long they kept all this quiet. Not a peep leaked in what over a month? Must be nice living on that side of the double standard coin.
