ProFootballDoc: Top 5 Actionable Injury Issues for NFL Week 15

Saturday NFL football is here but we will stick to picking five games for Sunday to keep the record clean. I LOVED the Bills -5.5 but we can't count that one.
Currently we sport a 42-24-4 record for +18 margin thru 14 weeks and we hope to keep it rolling by using unseen injury advantages.

As usual, we take Sunday early morning lines and here are five sides for today's games:

No Alex Smith, no Antonio Gibson

We anticipated both Smith and Gibson being out and made this game a line movers video and would love to have SEA -3 which is what the line was early this week but it indeed has now moved to -6.5. Even though there are definite advantages to getting down early, we still like the current line as the Seahawks are a full grade healthier and Washington has to start Dwayne Haskins.

Texans defense 7-Eleven

The Colts offense should role through the Texans defense with the ease of picking up a candy bar at the convenience store. Seven out of 11 defensive starters are out for Houston. For Indianapolis, the offense gets healthier with left tackle Anthony Castonzo past the worst of his right knee MCL strain. There is some worry for DeForest Buckner and his ankle so some consideration for the over 51. This is another example of the early bird getting the worm. Colts were -6.5 for a long time and this morning, lines are -7 or -7.5. See if you can get the 7 and take the Colts to roll through.

Derrick Henry and AJ Brown with big days

The Lions are down defensive linemen and corners. The Titans two big offensive weapons should shine. Yes, Detroit's Matthew Stafford will play with a rib block injection as expected but they will be without their center Frank Ragnow with the laryngeal fracture. The Lions have a mathematical chance of the playoffs still but expect the Titans to put them out of their misery. The current line is Titans -9.5 but this has the makings of a blowout.

Cowboys over Niners

With injuries to both sides, this matchup has been reduced to just a game between two clubs with losing records. San Francisco has been doing it with mirrors offensively with their four top offensive weapons are out or dealing with injury issues (Kittle, Samuel, Garoppolo, Mostert) and the defense remains injury ravaged. Dallas has its own injury issues but Ezekiel Elliot will play and the Cowboys can keep it close. The money line is tempting at +160 but the safer play is to try to get the +3.5 (some at +3)

Eagles secondary grounded

Philadelphia's injury issues have been well documented here and now they have new issues as they now face a healthy Kyler Murray. As we indicated Monday on the ProFootballDoc Podcast, the Eagles likely would be out three-fourths of their starting secondary and that is indeed the case. Jalen Hurts performed well last week and earned another start but that doesn't seem to be enough to overcome a C+ overall health grade. Take the Cardinals to cover the 6.5 points.

Good luck if you are in fantasy playoffs still but use the injury analysis at www.profootballdoc.com to gain the advantage on your DFS and gambling picks as well.
