ProFootballDoc Looks At Medical History For Mac Jones

The pre-draft process leading up to the 2021 NFL Draft has not been normal this year. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, finding proper and accurate medical information on prospects has been more challenging, which makes the limited information available that much more valuable.

No one breaks down injuries like Dr. David J. Chao, also known as ProFootballDoc.

He recently provided a series of videos going through the known medical history of four of the top five available quarterbacks, including Alabama’s Mac Jones. It looks like the San Francisco 49ers made a bold move to get Jones, so what will they be getting?

According to ProFootballDoc, Jones has a relatively clean and clear medical history, but there might be something more to monitor. Check out the video provided below to learn what it is.

  1. Now this information makes sense when deciding to choose a QB.

If there was a pro doc on ESPN he would have sighted the lack of melanin in Mac Jones skin as reason enough not to take him that high. Justin Fields though…take that guy #1 overall and pay him 100 mil already.
