ProFootballDoc: Injury Impact On Eagles Vs. Bucs For Thursday Night Football

The Colts didn't hang on, but were an easy cover at +7.5 for the Monday night matchup vs the Ravens.

Tonight, there seems to be a smaller but clearer health advantage for Tampa Bay, even though the starting tight end on both sides is out.

TAMPA BAY -7 @ PHILADELPHIA

The Bucs have an edge overall, as well as on offense and defense. With the Eagles' offensive line injury issues, will they be able to capitalize on the Bucs' secondary missing 3/4ths of the starters? Tampa still has a 7.3 SIC score advantage here defensively.

Overall, the Bucs have a 6.3 point health advantage. Rob Gronkowski is still out with ribs, and Dallas Goedert will miss due to COVID. Both squads have capable backups. The Bucs will miss defender Lavonte David, but the Eagles are missing Brandon Graham, though Josh Sweat has been playing well.

Sports Injury Center (SIC) Score is our proprietary numerical injury grading system that incorporates the health of every NFL team and individual players to give sports bettors, DFS players and fantasy owners an edge each week during the season. While it purposely doesn't take into account coaching, schemes or matchups, SIC Scores give an accurate assessment of team/player overall health heading into a game.
