ProFootballDoc: Injury Impact on Bills at Titans Monday Night Football

Let's celebrate a perfect 5-0 Sunday against the spread. Imagine if you took advantage of the FanDuel free $1,000 wager offer and played this five-team parlay. It would have paid about 22 to 1 for approximately $22,000!

We always count only the five main picks and not the three honorable mentions (which went 2-1 this week), which leaves us at 19-11 on the season. It's our second perfect 5-0 week, relying on injury information. This puts us back on pace with last season's 50-30-5 record against the spread. These four road favorites (LAR, KC, GB, MIN) laying points all won and covered, while HOU vs IND was an easy under with the Texans only scoring 3 points.

The idea is that the line takes into account player talent, scheme, coaching and who is on a roll, but the unseen injuries and clusters are not always accounted for. Using the Field View and SIC score, we can often find health advantages like in tonight's game.

SIC Score is our proprietary numerical injury grading system that incorporates the health of every NFL team and individual player to give sports bettors, DFS players and fantasy owners an edge each week during the season. While it purposely disregards coaching, schemes and matchups, SIC Scores give an accurate assessment of team/player overall health heading into a game.

Buffalo -5.5 at Tennessee

The Bills are healthy on offense and defense. In fact, on the Field View above, every position is "green." (Use the arrows at the top left corner to see the other side of the ball.) Both A.J. Brown and Julio Jones are still dealing with hamstring injuries, even though they will play. The left side of the Titans' offensive line tries to play through, even though they are less than 100%. Defensively, Tennessee has three starters out and Bud Dupree is still nowhere near himself coming off ACL tear.

We're not trying to pick the road favorite laying points, but it worked four times yesterday and that is what the injury data points to again for the Monday night contest. Go to www.profootballdoc.com before you enter your lineup or make your wagers at FanDuel.
