Porn Star Ron Jeremy Indicted On Rape And Other Sexual Assault Charges

Ron Jeremy is now becoming known for something other than his career as an adult film actor and director, and the reason why he’s making headlines today is considerably worse, if you can imagine that.

But it’s the sad truth, as Jeremy has been indicted on 30 new counts of sexual assault for allegedly molesting 21 women, LA County prosecutors said.

“Jeremy, 68, was arraigned on the fresh set of charges in Los Angeles County Court, accusing him of raping women as young as 15 since 1996,” the New York Post relayed.

Per prosecutors, Jeremy has been hit with a dozen of forcible rape, seven counts of forcible oral copulation, six counts of sexual battery by restraint, four counts of sexual penetration by a foreign object, two counts of sexual penetration of an unconscious or asleep person and one count each of lewd act upon a child under the age of 15, and sodomy by use of force and assault with intent to commit rape.

In other words, the disgust just keeps on coming when it comes to the 5-foot-6 actor, who has already been jailed since June 2020 on charges that he molested four women. More charges were thrown at him before the start of this year.

Per the New York Post:

In November, he was hit with a civil lawsuit filed by a longtime friend who accused the pudgy porn star of pinning her against a bathroom wall and molesting her.

The new indictment charges him with raping women at a party at a California nightclub, at a strip club, at a West Hollywood party and at his Woodland Hills home.

He is accused of raping a 15-year-old girl in 2004, and a 17-year-old girl at his home in 2008, according to prosecutors.

“Far too often survivors of sexual assault suffer in isolation,” LA County District Attorney George Gascon said in a statement. “We must ensure that survivors have all options available to help with recovery, including trauma-informed services for hearing and support to report such crimes.”

Jeremy pleaded not guilty and is being held on $6.6 million bail. He is due back in court in early October.

A native of Queens, N.Y., Jeremy’s real name is Ron Jeremy Hyatt. He initially began his career as a teacher, leaving the profession only after his then-girlfriend submitted his picture to Playgirl magazine.

The photo was published and Jeremy used it as a springboard into the adult film industry. And from the sounds of things, a lifetime of sexual deviance as well.
