Peyton Manning, Tony Vitello Share Funny 'Omaha' Skit Leading Up To CWS Appearance

After going 5-0 in the Knoxville Regional and Super Regional, the Tennessee Baseball team is on its way to Omaha to compete in the College World Series. For Peyton Manning, that's like combining his two favorite things: Vols athletics and Omaha.

The two-time Super Bowl winning quarterback made the "Omaha" audible call well known back during his playing days, after all. So with Tennessee moving on in its quest to bring home a national championship in baseball, of course they were going to find a creative way to get Manning involved.

In a "good luck" video to Vols head baseball coach Tony Vitello, the two have an entertaining exchange that includes Manning shouting the word "Omaha" several times. And when I say several times, I mean it. Check it out.

Is it corny? Sure. Do Manning and Vitello pull it off? Absolutely.

The skit is supposed to be corny, but it's also fun. This is an exciting time for Tennessee baseball. After several average and below average seasons, this team has a shot at bringing home a national title. I say let them have fun with it.

The No. 3 seed Vols will take on Virginia in Game 1 this Sunday at 2 p.m. ET.
