Paulina Gretzky & Jena Sims Face Off At The Masters

Old friends Paulina Gretzky and Jena Sims, who infamously vacationed together in the Maldives with their golf partners Dustin Johnson and Brooks Koepka, unleashed a fashion showdown at Augusta National Friday during the second round of the Masters. It's unclear if these two are still on speaking terms, as Paulina has deleted all evidence of the Maldives trip from her Instagram page and Koepka indicated in August the couples are not as close as some might think, despite the trip.

“I’m not close with any of the guys out here. We are friends, but at the same time I’ve got enough friends," Koepka told Golf Week. "I see these guys 22 weeks of the year. When I go home, I don’t need to see them for another 30 weeks, you know?”

Golf.com reported in August that Koepka seemed agitated when asked about a friendship with Johnson. There's definitely something going on here that will eventually come out on a podcast.

The Maldives couples trip came in 2019 after a rocky end to 2018 where there was an alleged "fight" between Johnson and Koepka about the Ryder Cup going very badly for the Americans. It supposedly ended with emotions running high at a party. About 10 weeks later, the couples were in the tropics together. How the two couples end up on vacation together is unclear since apparently Koepka doesn't think of DJ as a buddy.

And now here we are at the Masters with Dustin Johnson in a tie for first at 9-under heading into the weekend. Koepka is close behind at 5-under. And now we have Paulina and Jena cruising the course in a fashion showdown. This is exactly what the golf world needs right now. A Koepka-Johnson final pairing Sunday would be an all-timer. The golf gods need to make that happen.
