NYPD Lap Dance Cop Identified & She's Definitely A Party

The great mystery over which NYPD rookie cop gave her lieutenant an incredible lap dance at a Christmas party appears to be over. The Daily Mail reportsVera Mekuli is the 26-year-old lap dance cop who rode her boss like a boss at last week's 44th Precinct party. The dance cost Lt. Nick McGarry his position in the 44th Precinct after superiors learned of one of its Finest allowing a rookie cop to work over the married man.

The Daily Mail also reports that McGarry wasn't the only guy getting a lap full. Sources tell the media outlet that the other man who received a Mekuli special is believed to be a cop as well. Mekuli, who was a real estate agent before joining the NYPD earlier this year, seems to have the support of fellow cops who see this as a failure of leadership within the 44th Precinct and they blame McGarry.

"She's a rookie and was trying to get cool points. Nick should have known better, being in a position of power," a cop source told the Mail.

While it's easy to blame the married superior for wanting a little bump & grind, Mekuli, in her own words, quite possibly could've seen this as an opportunity to impress a boss with her talents.

"I tend to go after what I want and I don't stop until I get it. If I am to fail. I pick myself up and try again!," Mekuli wrote on a now-deleted Linkedin page.

There was very little failing during her sultry lap dance that left partygoers stunned.

"Success does not come without failure. I've learned at a very young age that success/wealth/opportunities isn't just given or handed to you, it is earned; earned by hard work and time you put in," she continues on the deleted Linkedin page.



Look, smart money says this isn't the first time a couple of cops got wild during a Christmas party and it won't be the last. Time will pass and Vera will just be a memory as the 20-something rookie cop who uncorked one of the great lap dances of our times.

Lt. McGarry will possibly patch up his marriage and everyone will laugh about this down the road over cocktails. There's no need to cancel anyone here. There's no need for Vera to lose her job. Christmas party lap dances happen! Some might be way less enthusiastic than others -- Vera set the bar very high here -- and there might be female officers out there who want a shot at Vera's belt.
