The phrase “keep your head on a swivel” should be a part of your daily routine nowadays. That used to be just an April Fool’s Day thing, but with the surge in internet trolls, it’s always best to question the source of any breaking news.
Some learned that the hard way over the weekend.
A troll Twitter account that covers the Las Vegas Raiders posted a video of a rocked up dude getting his ass kicked in a Wal-Mart. The caption read: “ex #Raiders offensive tackle Bruce Campbell involved in altercation. Was taken to the hospital with a broken jaw. Wow.”
BREAKING: ex #Raiders offensive tackle Bruce Campbell involved in altercation.
Was taken to hospital with a broken jaw.
Wow. #RaiderNation

The video is referring to a former fourth-round pick out of Maryland back in 2010. Bruce Campbell, now 32-year-old, never panned out in the NFL, but he did spend almost five seasons in the league after a dominate circuit during the NFL Combine. At 6-foot-7, 314 pounds, Campbell ran a 4.85 in the 40-yard-dash (and yes, it was legitimate) and put up 34 reps on the bench press. In other words, he’s a massive guy who looks intimidating.
But that’s not Campbell in the viral video. I don’t know who it is, but it’s not him. I’m sure whoever it is will be thrilled to learn someone else’s name is being attached to that ass-whipping he took.
My guy had his face checked out at the scanner.

Of course other news outlets ran with the story, but all it took was a simple Google search to realize that it wasn’t Campbell.

Oh well, that’s par for the course too.

Oh, that Bruce Campbell. I thought it was the other Bruce Campbell, Greatest American Hero #11, just 5 spots below Kurt Russell.
I think we should blame whitey.
Clearly Donald Trump’s fault. A prime example of systemic racism. The never ending display of genius and charm within the Walmart Community. As Peter Strzok was right, you can smell them. America Matters.
