Where Will The Raiders Settle With Pick 17 In Thursday's NFL Draft In Cleveland?

When NFL commish Roger Goodell goes up to the platform on Thursday night in downtown Cleveland ready to announce pick 17, it'll be a pick that is very much up in the air on all sides.

The pick belongs to the AFC West's Las Vegas Raiders, a team that last year took strides winning eight games and wrapping up 2020 at .500 under Coach Jon Gruden.

Las Vegas even had an impressive road win over the AFC Champion Kansas City Chiefs, a team that lost just two games.

In the end though, the Raiders dropped three of their last four and missed the postseason.

The 2021 NFL Draft has the Raiders with six picks, one each in the first six rounds, giving them a shot to build a squad that can challenge Kansas City.

Here's a complete list of Raiders draft picks for 2021:

Round 1: No. 17 overall
Round 2: No. 48
Round 3: No. 79 (from Cardinals), No. 80
Round 4: No. 121
Round 5: No. 162 (from Dolphins), No. 167 (from Seahawks)
Round 6: No. 200

There's a number of positions that the Raiders need to address, starting with the 17th overall pick.

Wide receiver is one spot that the team could use. Last year, Henry Ruggs pulled in just 26 catches for 452 yards and two scores.

Another position of need is on the offensive line, a spot that the Raiders would like to upgrade for running back Josh Jacobs.

On defense, linebacker, cornerback and defensive tackle are three positions that the Raiders will be focused on.
