Video: Washington Trick Plays Were Pretty Nifty

Thanksgiving NFL games exist in a bizarre vacuum. The time of day seems to turn flat, and you're not necessarily keyed in on every play because you have so much food and family around you that you just can't absorb the details. Thus, if you happened to miss this nifty first quarter trick play, in which tight end Logan Thomas connects with wide receiver Terry McClaurin, it's worth taking a gander at now:

Thomas, as some remember and others have heard many times, played quarterback at Virginia Tech. Therefore, it's not a COMPLETE marvel that the now TE can throw a ball like this, though it would be if, say, Gronk did it.

Later, Washington ran a FUMBLEROOSKI with running back JD McKissic:

Washington deserves credit for cooking these up and for bestowing a thorough whipping on the Cowboys in their building on their traditional holiday game.
