Tom Brady Sending 10-Year-Old Cancer Survivor To Super Bowl
There are moments in sports that are bigger than the game, as Tom Brady continues to remind us all.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback surprised 10-year-old brain cancer survivor Noah Reeb with Super Bowl tickets.
Brady connected with Reeb earlier in the season when his parents got in touch with him. He recorded a message for Reeb, and when Reeb traveled to see Brady play later in the year, he gave Brady a hug at the end of the game and held a sign saying, “TOM BRADY HELPED ME BEAT BRAIN CANCER.”
“I know it’s been a while. I hope you’re enjoying the season so far. We’re grinding, getting ready to start the playoffs,” Brady said in the video. “But earlier in the year, you held up that sign that I helped you beat brain cancer."
The New York Post reports Reeb’s parents promised him that when he beat cancer and could travel, they would take him from Utah to see Brady play, and they accomplished that in October. They hope to do it a second time in Los Angeles.
“Well listen, your fight, you’ve inspired so many people, including myself and millions of others also," Brady said. "The NFL and the Bucs look forward to sending deserving fans to the Super Bowl each year and fans that have incredible stories like the one you’ve had. I worked with both the Bucs and the NFL to get you and your family Super Bowl tickets this year in LA! We certainly hope to be there, but I know you’re gonna be there.”
