Steelers RB Najee Harris Deletes NSFW Post In Response To Ben Roethlisberger's Comments

Ben Roethlisberger's comments Wednesday apparently didn't sit well with his teammate, Najee Harris.

The rookie running back posted a story on his Instagram in response to Roethlisberger's claim that the Steelers don't have a chance against the Chiefs Sunday.

"Ni*** what?????" Harris wrote, in a post that was deleted shortly after.

Roethlisberger initially made the comments while speaking to the Pittsburgh media.

“We’re probably 20-point underdogs and we’re going to the No. 1 team. I know they’re not the No. 1 seed, but they’ve won the AFC the last two years, arguably the best team in football … We don’t have a chance. So let’s just go in and play and have fun,” Roethlisberger said.

Roethlisberger continued, again pointing out how the Steelers are heavy underdogs.

“We haven’t discussed it, but I think, I would assume as a group you understand that we probably aren’t supposed to be here, we’re probably not a very good football team,” Roethlisberger said. “Out of the 14 teams that are in, we’re probably No. 14. We’re double-digit underdogs in the playoffs. So, let’s just go play, have fun, and see what happens.”

The Steelers quarterback seemed to be using sarcasm, but Harris didn't take it that way, at least right away. The Steelers (9-7-1) are certainly underdogs against the Chiefs (12-5), with Kansas City favored by 12.5 points, per FanDuel Sportsbook.

The Chiefs handled the Steelers at Arrowhead in Week 16 on Dec. 26, defeating Pittsburgh 36-10.

Harris, the Steelers' 2021 first-round selection from Alabama, is scheduled to return to practice Friday, currently dealing with an elbow injury. Harris ran for 1,200 yards and seven touchdowns and had 74 receptions for 467 yards and three scores through the air this season.
