Saints Likely To March Back To New Orleans For Next Home Game
The New Orleans Saints will be at the Superdome again this season, and it appears it will be in time for their next home game.
As you know, the Saints were forced to play Week One's "home" game against the Green Bay Packers in Jacksonville, as New Orleans continues to deal with the aftermath of Hurricane Ida. The game went well, with the Saints marching to a 38-3 romp.
Now, their next two games are scheduled for the road -- with Week Four vs. the New York Giants expected to take place at home. And by home, we mean the Superdome.
Per Saints coach Sean Payton, the Superdome will almost definitely be where the Saints face the Giants that week.
For now, the Saints are continuing to practice in Texas, and will keep doing so after Sunday's game vs. the Carolina Panthers, Payton said. More specifically, they'll train at TCU after the Carolina game, then intend to return to New Orleans following a Week Three visit to the New England Patriots.
Should all go according to plan, the Saints' Week Four game will be the first at the Superdome since losing to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in last season's NFC divisional round.
