Russell Wilson Wants To Stay In Seattle, But Has A List Just In Case

All spring and summer, we've heard rumors about NFL quarterbacks wanting to move to another squad, and one player who hasn't seemed happy with his current team is Russell Wilson.

After Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks lost to the Los Angeles Rams in the NFC Wild Card game, rumblings started that, not only was Wilson unhappy, but that his relationship with coach Pete Carroll was strained as well.

Now, the quarterback is anxious to let everyone know that, despite what was said earlier, he's happy in Seattle and that his relationship with Coach Carroll is actually "stronger than ever."

"I would say it's stronger. Me and Pete have gotten even closer. We've always been super close. Pete and I, we've always had a great bond," Wilson said on The Dan Patrick Show on Wednesday.

"I think we got to have a great heart to heart. He's got goals. I've got goals. We want to do great things. To actually really dive into those and to talk about those missions, those goals, it was fun.

"So I think me and Coach Carroll's relationship is stronger than ever. And I think that's the best part about it. And also my teammates. We're pumped about the season."

Still, Wilson reportedly has a list of teams he would want to play for if a trade from Seattle took place: the Chicago Bears, Dallas Cowboys, Las Vegas Raiders and New Orleans Saints.
