Packers WR Adams Responds To Raiders QB Carr About Playing In Las Vegas Next Season

On Tuesday, Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Derek Carr spoke about former college teammate and good friend Green Bay Packers wide out Davante Adams. Adams will be a free agent after this upcoming season, if he doesn't come to a deal with his current team.

Carr heaped praise on Adams for what he's done in his time in Green Bay.

“I know that he’s obviously the best receiver — everyone said one of the best, he’s the best receiver in the NFL," Carr said.

Adams has come back at his old friend, leaving open the possibility of linking up with him at some point in the future.

"Obviously, I love Derek to death. We got a great friendship, and we still communicate really, really consistently," Adams said.

"He's one of my best friends, so obviously it'd be a dream to be able to play with him.

"I'm a Packer now, so until that point where we make that decision, I guess we'll see what happens."

Carr and Adams were very good together at Fresno State in 2012 and 2013. Adams put up huge numbers with Carr under center. The Packers wide out had 3,031 receiving yards and 38 touchdowns over the course of the two college seasons.
