Mac Jones May Have Cost Himself Rookie Of The Year Honors With This Trash Thanksgiving Dinner Take
Rookie quarterback Mac Jones has plenty to be thankful for this holiday season: including a 7-4 start as New England's lead play-caller and a recent eclipsing of the Buffalo Bills for the AFC East's No. 1 spot.
For Jones, things appear to be going as easy as pie.
The 2021-22 AP NFL Rookie of the Year hopeful was asked over his preference of pie for Thanksgiving dinner at the Jones household. His answer wasn't as sweet as expected.
Jones admitted to liking zero pie.
Not pumpkin, apple, butternut squash or others ... simply no affinity for pie at all, said Jones.
Giving a pretty non-PC answer, Jones joined fellow Pat Matt Judon with spicy takes related to Thanksgiving dinner, per Sports Illustrated. The defensive veteran was unapologetic in calling out everyone's favorite sticky elbows on a platter: macaroni and cheese.
"All right, well, I'm not even gonna answer your question. I'm gonna tell you we gotta get macaroni and cheese off the table," Judon sternly announced. "All right, guys? It is just cheese and noodles, and it's not that good. Let's be honest, guys. Everybody here is a little lactose , so it messes up our stomachs and we gotta get it off the table. It's probably one of the most overrated dishes."
While Patriots football this season continues to be a treat for viewers, the guys from New England continue to produce takes as flavorful as green beans — truly the worst dish from Thanksgiving tradition.
