Julio Jones Drops Absolute Bombshell About Atlanta Live On TV: 'I'm Outta There'

Julio Jones wants out of Atlanta. Why? Because the longtime NFL wide receiver wants to win.

This isn't speculation, and it isn't hearsay. This news comes straight from Jones, who may have not realized that he was live on TV when he dropped it. At this point, that doesn't really matter anymore. All that matters is what he said.

On Monday, Shannon Sharpe called the Falcons pass-catcher during his show Undisputed with Skip Bayless. Surprisingly, Jones answered, and Sharpe proceeded to ask him several questions. When asked if he wanted to stay in Atlanta, Jones responded he's "out of there" and followed it up with "I want to win."

Check this out.

The rumor mill has speculated for weeks that Jones could be traded soon. The Falcons are desperately looking to clear some much-needed cap space, and getting Jones' contract off the books is one of the only ways to do it.

Apparently, Jones is on board with the idea as well. After over a decade with the franchise, he's ready for the next chapter. But he still might not be OK with how this news was announced. I guess we'll find out soon enough.
