Joe Montana: Tom Brady Is QB G.O.A.T.

The debate on who the greatest NFL quarterback of all time is won't be going away anytime soon.

From Johnny Unitas to Otto Graham to the more modern day throwers like Joe Montana and Tom Brady, it's a discussion that is going to last a very long time.

Following yet another Super Bowl win for Tom Brady along with an MVP early in February, many now have him firmly placed as the GOAT (Greatest Of All Time), and at least one Hall of Fame QB -- former 49ers and Chiefs QB Joe Montana -- agrees.

Montana was not shy when talking about his buddy Brady on ESPN's First Take Wednesday, and had a quick and decisive response when asked if Brady has replaced him as the NFL's greatest QB ever.

"Oh, I think Tom has taken his place on the top up there a long time ago," Montana said.

"So, he's had a tremendous career. He's fun to watch."

Brady has appeared in 10 Super Bowls, and the only two teams that have defeated him in the big game are the New York Giants (twice) and the Philadelphia Eagles.

Other than that, he's now cemented his legacy with six wins with New England and one with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Buccaneers were underdogs against the Chiefs, but trounced the reigning champs 31-9.

Montana has nothing to be ashamed of, as he himself has four Super Bowl wins, eight Pro Bowls, and a pair of NFL MVP awards.

It's fun to talk about who is better, and there's really no wrong answer - but if you ask Montana, he's all about giving love to Brady and his bunch of titles.
