Jags RB Planning To Shell Out Autographs After Changing Number

Jacksonville Jaguars second-year running back James Robinson is changing his number from 30 to 25, which will effectively make all of the jerseys sold during his rookie campaign out-of-date. Robinson, though, has vowed to personally sign every single No. 30 jersey that fans bought in 2020 as a gesture of goodwill.

Robinson wore No. 25 when he played at Illinois State. He wore No. 30 throughout the preseason, but decided to make the switch back to 25 at the last minute, now that rosters have been officially trimmed down.

Number changes actually add more character and interest to the jersey, given that there is now something unique about it. But if any fans don’t appreciate the change, Robinson wants to fix the situation as best as he can.

The Jaguars open the season against the Texans in Houston in an AFC South showdown.
