Jags Kicker Pokes Fun At Getting Summoned For PED Testing Following Strong Performance Against Miami

The Jacksonville Jaguars' 20-game losing streak was ended in London when kicker Matthew Wright converted three field goals — the team's only made field goals of the season — but most notably, the 53-yard game-winner.

Wright's 53-yard field goal with no time remaining helped the Jaguars (1-5) beat the Miami Dolphins 23-20 last Sunday, marking the team's first victory in 399 days since the Jags last beat the Indianapolis Colts in the 2020 season opener.

Despite his collegiate success, the league appeared seemingly skeptical about how he pulled it off as Wright took to Twitter on Wednesday to post that he was selected for a random drug test.

Wright tagged Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett in his post with the caption, "I feel your pain."

CBS Sports reports that Garrett, the NFL's sack leader with eight, has been randomly drug tested multiple times this season. Garrett's tests came after he shed his usual gameday sleeves to flex his enormous arms, the reason why the former No. 1 pick says "#SleevelessMyles" is coming to an end.

"I go sleeveless for one game and they hit me with a 'you got a random drug test in the morning,’" Garrett tweeted after coming away with five tackles and half a sack in the win over the Minnesota Vikings in Week 4.

After the Week 6 loss to the Arizona Cardinals, where Garrett accounted for three tackles and a sack, he tweeted: "I go sleeveless TWO TIMES and get 'randomly' drug tested BOTH times… I’d try 3 for 3 but they can miss me with the blood draw..."

After receiving a third random drug screening after the Week 7 win over the Denver Broncos, Garrett tweeted on Friday: "Yeaaa they are trying to clone me."

The Cleveland Browns will next face the Pittsburgh Steelers at First Energy Stadium on Oct. 31 with kickoff set for 1 p.m., while the Jacksonville Jaguars are set to face the Seattle Seahawks on Oct. 31 at 4:05 p.m.
