Giants Starting QB Ends Up On The Bottom Of Massive Camp Brawl

After a 6-10 season, Giants quarterback Daniel Jones is aiming to lead New York back to respectability. And he's doing so from the ground up. Literally. The third-year quarterback found himself on the bottom of a pile after an intra-squad fight broke out at this morning's training camp practice.

Though the Giants are likely used to seeing their starting quarterback on the ground, having their top signal caller act as the ground floor of a skyscraper made of 300 pounders is less than ideal.

Head coach Joe Judge was hardly thrilled with his team's antics. Practice was stopped immediately, and the entire team was made to run gassers before hitting the ground for pushups. Not surprisingly, a slew of f-words from Judge followed.

No word on whether the players will also be grounded, but I'd be willing to bet they'll at least lose TV privileges. And they better not even think about going to the dance on Friday night...

Speaking to the media after practice, Jones acknowledged Coach Judge's disappointment: “I think he definitely got his point across. And people understood exactly what he was trying to say.”

Though the head coach surely doesn't want to see his quarterback involved in a fight, Jones brushed off the brawl: “I was fine. I was all good, no problem. … I’m part of the team and part of the offense, and we’re competing."

Sounds like a Giant mess.
