Five Amazing Games For Your Super Bowl LV Party
Let's face it, Super Bowl Sunday has become a national holiday. Actually, the entire weekend seems to be one big party, or an excuse to hold parties. And nothing screams holiday like gatherings.
But Sunday's big game between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and defending champion Kansas City Chiefs doesn't kick off until 6:30 p.m. EST. Whether you're hanging with friends in person or online, here are some ways to kill time before Super Bowl LV:
Trivia: A quick check of profootball-reference.com will give you every Super Bowl fact you need to know. Go down the list of Super Bowls, ask friends a question, then pass the phone to the next person.
NFL Board Games: There are plenty out there. The best one we've found is NFL Game Day: The Ultimate Football Board Game. It may be too late to buy it online, but if nothing else, you can get it for next season. You don't have to wait for the Super Bowl to play it. It's available to play anytime. It is also available for purchase in many big chain stores.
Drinking Games: Yeah, we're going there. This obviously would be for kids-free parties only. And parties that involved, uh, responsible adults who pre-arranged for an entirely sober driver. (Or one who doesn't mind perhaps acting as an obnoxious host.) Per Good Houskeeping: "There are plenty of options, like 'drink when (rule of your choosing) happens' or 'don't say (word of your choosing)' and guests have to drink if they slip up and mention the word." And yes, we're giving drinking-game advice from Good Housekeeping.
Commercial Bingo: Grab a bingo board. Fill in the companies that you think will advertise. (We have a cheat sheet at OutKick right here.) Once you get five, scream out "BINGO!" with the type of force that will frighten the neighborhood.
Printable Super Bowl Party Game: You can get a free printable game at Our Handrafted Life. Have party-goers fill out the sheets before the game, collect, and reward the winner at the end. Our just come up with your own. Below is a sample.
