Fitz Closing In On NFL Record As A Starting QB In 2021 - Lose To 31 Different NFL Teams

Each and every year history is made by starting quarterbacks in the National Football League.

From throwing touchdowns to completing passes on a consecutive basis, there's always going to be the watchful eye of the NFL's stats department.

2021 already has a stat attached to it that has to be addressed, and it's one that the person involved might want to run away from.

The quarterback in question is veteran Ryan Fitzpatrick, who has played the game for 16 seasons, and is already in training for yet another season upcoming in 2021, as he has inked a one-year deal to be the starter for the Washington Football Team.

The stat that Fitzpatrick may just break in 2021 has to do with playing each and every team in the NFL - and losing to them all.

That's right, Fitz could very well in 2021 be on the verge of history, as if he loses a couple of games, he'll reach the mark of losing to all 31.

Right now the veteran has dropped games to 28 different teams as a starting quarterback since entering the league back in 2005.

By the way - want some trivia on Fitz? He actually WON his first game as a starter, beating the Houston Texans as starter for the St.Louis Rams by a final score of 33-27, throwing three touchdowns in the win.

So Fitz needs to drop games to four, but only three of which are on the schedule for Washington - Packers, Saints and Buccaneers.

If Washington loses or even if he wins, he'll end this season needing to lose to at least one more team if he wants to set the record.

That team - the Detroit Lions.
