Dez Bryant Officially Now Member of Ravens' 53-Man Roster

Some people may not have known that wide receiver Dez Bryant was had returned to the NFL, and that's probably because he has been a member of the Baltimore Ravens' practice squad.

Not anymore.

As of Saturday, Bryant is officially now on the Ravens' 53-man roster. The former Dallas Cowboys great even tweeted that he is back.

“Beyond thankful,” Bryant wrote on Twitter with a picture of himself giving a thumbs up.

This really was a formality, given the fact Bryant just also happened to be the Ravens' leading receiver in last week's loss to the Tennessee Titans (four catches, 28 yards).

Then again, those are hardly the numbers we were once used to seeing from Bryant -- or anywhere near the lofty stats Lamar Jackson's receivers put up during Jackson's magical rookie season.

Jackson is in a bit of a slump and the Ravens are going right down the tubes with him. They went 14-2 last season, but are a very average 6-4 so far this year. Their struggles started with a home loss to the Steelers three weeks ago.

Now, we don't even know when they'll play the Steelers again. The game was originally scheduled for Thanksgiving, but a few positive Ravens COVID tests later, is very much up in the air.

So Bryant may be officially signed, but it sure would help his hurting team if he could become officially really good again, too.
