Deshaun Watson Wants To Play For Broncos, Ex-Teammate Says
It's too soon to know whether Deshaun Watson will play another NFL game, but if he does, he wants it to be with the Denver Broncos.
At least, that's what former Houston Texans cornerback Kareem Jackson said on the Catchin' Fades with Aqib Talib podcast.
Watson, of course, is the Texans star QB. But he has been accused of sexual harassment by 22 massage therapists, and those cases are pending. Prior to the allegations, it was evident Watson wanted to move on from Houston.
Meanwhile, Jackson was Watson's teammate until 2019, when he signed with the Broncos. Now, Denver is where Watson also wants to be, per Jackson.
"I've got a great relationship with Deshaun; I've been talking with him the past couple of weeks, man," Jackson told Talib. "All he's been telling me is, 'Look, Jack. Just tell them, that's where I want to be.' He's like, 'That's where I want to be.' He's like, 'I want to be in Denver.'"
Jackson's two-year contract with the Broncos expired in March, but he has since signed a one-year deal to return.
"I signed back, and he said, 'Listen, man. I want to be in Denver,'" Jackson said.
