Cardinals, WR A.J. Green Agree On One-year, $8.5 Million Deal

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, WR A.J. Green and the Arizona Cardinals have agreed on a one-year deal worth up to $8.5 million. He's had a slew of injuries in the past couple years, but there's some potential here.

The 32-year-old receiver missed all of 2019 with an ankle injury that clearly lingered into 2020. But the seven-time Pro-Bowler looks to bounce back in the desert, and with star quarterback Kyler Murray, an A.J. Green resurgence isn't far fetched.

This also could be our first indication about whether long-time Arizona Cardinals receiver Larry Fitzgerald calls it a career. We'll know more over the next couple weeks as we head to the Draft. Arizona could be really good, or they could be a retirement home.
